This privacy policy applies when you visit or use the NLMD-LT website or Stock Move Express app (both are the "Service"). This privacy policy may be supplemented by additional privacy statements, terms or notices provided on certain areas of the Service or during our interactions with you.

The General Data Protection Regulation

Data You or Your Representative Provide to Us

• Your CPH, herd and flock number;

Data From Service Use

• Computer, device and connection information, such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system and other software installed on your device, mobile platform and unique device identifier and other technical identifiers, error reports and performance data;

Depending on how you interact with the Service and us and your preferences, we use your personal information to:

• Process and fulfil a request or other transaction;
• Provide technical, product and other support and to help keep the Service working, safe and secure;

• With your explicit consent, we will forward personal data to statutory government services such as livestock movement recording services. The NLMD-LT website provides a method for you to add or remove this consent.

• detect, investigate and help prevent security, fraud or technical issues; and
• protect the rights, property or safety of NLMD, our users, employees and others;

and as part of a corporate transaction, such as a transfer of assets to or an acquisition by or merger with another company.

Permissions Required by Stock Move Express App

The Stock Move Express app needs various permissions to function correctly.

The permissions required by the Android app are:

• Location. Needed to search for a Bluetooth EID reader. Android enforces the use of this permission since some Bluetooth devices may be used to record the location of a phone. The app does not use the phone location for any purpose.
• Camera. Needed to scan medicine barcodes, making it easier to record medicine purchases. The app does not store any images from the camera.

The permissions required by the iPhone app are:

• Notifications. Needed to show the outcome of potentially long running activities, such as user initiated forwarding to government statutory systems
• Camera. Needed to scan medicine barcodes, making it easier to record medicine purchases. The app does not store any images from the camera.

Android is a trademark of Google Inc.

iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

Accessing and Updating Your information

The Service allows registered users to directly access and review their account information and make corrections or updates after login. Keeping such information up to date is solely the responsibility of the user. Registered users may also close their account by contacting customer support.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfil the transactions you have requested, and for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, maintaining business and financial records, resolving disputes, maintaining security, detecting and preventing fraud and abuse, and enforcing our agreements.

Data Security

We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information that you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access in accordance with the UK data protection legislation.

NLMD has always strived, and will continue to strive to make your data as secure as possible.

Grounds for Processing

Our legitimate interests are: to deliver our products to our customers and their end users; to detect or prevent fraud; to protect the security of our systems, customers and users; to further develop our products; to operate our business (by performing customer relations management as well as incidental processing in our back office for these purposes); to enable our customers to comply with legal obligations; to provide customer service or support; or fulfil our other legitimate interests as described above.

You have the right under European and certain other privacy and data protection laws to request free of charge:

• that we cease or limit our processing of your personal information,
